Hints and Tips:

Try and book your appointment at a time that suits your baby

ie. Just after a nap or just before lunchtime when they will be getting hungry but are not starving and grumpy.

No one knows your baby better than you, so only you will know what time of day they will be at their best.

It's a good idea to make sure your little one actually likes cake ahead of their session. In the days leading up to your appointment,

give them little bits of cake and buttercream so they are used to the taste and texture.  If they aren't keen, let us know asap so we can

plan ahead. Although it's always fantastic when they stick their little faces straight in the cake, the strange person with the camera,

the unfamiliar surroundings of the studio and the pressure to perform can often make little ones apprehensive and reluctant to smash their

beautiful cake so we recommend bringing their favorite snack along too, in case they need encouragement to eat on demand.

Cake smashing can be thirsty work so make sure you bring their drink and a towel for after their bath. It's up to you what your

little one wears but we do suggest you come prepared to get messy too as we will need your help on set, especially if they are mobile!
